PARTNERSHIP FOR COMMUNITY SAFETY LAUNCHES WEB SITE

WASHINGTON (February 13, 2002) -The Partnership for Community Safety today announced the launch of a Web site that will serve as a resource for partnership members, policy makers and the public. The site can be accessed at www.partnershipforsafety.org.

The partnership Web site features new approaches to community preparedness, educational materials, common safety goals for all community leaders, links to individual member sites and a press page. The Web site will provide a centralized place for first responders from a variety of fields to access the latest information on community safety.

The Partnership for Community Safety: Strengthening America's Readiness represents firefighters, paramedics and other EMS professionals, emergency physicians, all other physicians, hospital officials, medical education professionals, public health officials, nurses and state regulatory agencies in the United States.
